Brands/Company Names Inspired by the Greek and Roman Mythology

If I have to recall the previous lessons I had listened and studied, one of the most important things to form a business is for the owner to think of a company name. Of course, we have to give names in order to be recognized and remembered. We can't just say: "Oh, there's that one shop that I really like." There are other shops around the world and it would be too much of a hassle to look around just to remember that shop you like, right? That's why businessmen give names for their businesses--it's like naming a baby. It has to be simple, unique and memorable at the same time.      Names that are created are mostly inspired and have a special meaning behind it. One of the inspirations that I found out that most businessmen use are coming from Mythology. In this blog, I will list down a few of the company names that I had stumbled or researched upon that are greatly inspired by Mythology. (Note: There are also logos inspired heavily by Myth...

How to Win a Jingle Competition

Every jingle competition requires creativity, determination and commitment. When the results were finally announced after the competition, your group ranked last. You start to wonder how did that other group win. So how? Here are some pointers on how to win a jingle competition.

One: You have to be committed. That means you need to sacrifice your free time just to rehearse for the competition. If you aren't committed for this competition, that means you're going to miss out a lot of new steps and lyrics for the jingle.

Two: You have to give your all. Even if you don't know how to dance or sing, you need to exert all of your efforts just to execute the whole song. You have to give all of your energy to sing and dance to have a better quality performance and bring a huge impact to the jingle.

Three: Cooperation towards the members. Teamwork is important in order to have a synced performance thus creating a huge impact towards the crowd. If one fails to work with others, chances are your jingle might lose its quality. The performance will not look nice. This jingle requires unity and everyone must cooperate.

Four: Determination. This means you need to be determined to execute all the steps and sing all the lines even if it means by exaggerating all of it and yelling the lyrics at the top of your lungs. You also need to master all the steps and lyrics to create a synced performance and  not embarrass yourself by making a mistake.

Five: Lastly, have fun. No one is forcing you to join the jingle, it's everyone's free will. Having fun gives you an energy to perform the jingle and make it memorable.

Competitions may be hard, especially in a jingle. But in order to win, we must remember the pointers written above to execute the jingle with the best quality performance. And who knows? You might win the next jingle competition.
